Hi, I’m Mayssam, architect, artist, mama, and the founder of MKunstraum.
My journey began with a deep love for art and storytelling, shaped further by years of architectural study and a Master’s degree in Germany.
MKunstraum is where structure meets soul. It was born during Elternzeit (maternity leave) with my daughter Sophia, and it has since grown into a space that explores identity, motherhood, and emotion through mixed media, symbols, and textures.

Collected in Chamonix near the Aiguille du Midi, these stones became traces of distance, transformation, and inner change.
What began as fragments gathered instinctively from nature slowly unfolded into reflections on seeking, holding, becoming, and learning to see beyond what once felt like “everything.”
Through raw textures, natural forms, and quiet composition, Traces of Earth - Chamonix explores how what once felt distant can slowly become part of us.
Gesammelt in Chamonix nahe der Aiguille du Midi wurden diese Steine zu Spuren von Distanz, Wandel und innerer Veränderung.
Was einst als intuitiv gesammelte Fragmente aus der Natur begann, entfaltete sich langsam zu Reflexionen über das Suchen, Festhalten, Werden und das Lernen, über das hinauszublicken, was sich einst wie „alles“ anfühlte.
Durch rohe Texturen, natĂĽrliche Formen und stille Kompositionen erforscht Traces of Earth - Chamonix, wie das, was einst fern erschien, langsam Teil von uns werden kann.
